It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their bin is adequately marked and identifiable. Bin Buster can provide a label for this identification.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their bin is put out so that the council can empty it.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their bin is left out after the bin has been emptied or made easily accessible so that it can be cleaned,

Failure to comply with the above may mean we are unable to clean your bin and may therefore result in loss of a cleaning credit.

If any rubbish remains in the bin after the refuse collection it will be at the operative’s discretion as to whether cleaning can be carried out.

If the operative decides to clean the bin then any rubbish that is removed from your bin will be placed in a tied bag and returned to your bin.

If your bin is unavailable for cleaning on a scheduled cleaning day at least 24 hours advance notice must be given to Bin Buster in order to preserve the cleaning credit.

Bin Buster will notify the customer of the start date of the four-weekly cleaning schedule, thereafter it is the responsibility of the customer to make themselves aware of the cleaning schedule and make their bins available for cleaning on the correct days.

Bin Buster will notify the customer of any change to the cleaning schedule.

Bin Buster will issue the customer with a re-subscription notice on the day of the last subscribed clean.

If the customer does not wish to subscribe for further cleaning notification must be given to Bin Buster within four weeks of the last subscribed clean.

If the customer fails to respond within four weeks Bin Buster will clean the bin on the next scheduled cleaning day and issue a reminder notice.

If the customer re-subscribes to the service following the reminder notice the cost of the clean will be offset against the subscription fee at the subscription rate for one clean.

If the customer fails to re-subscribe following the reminder notice the customer will be liable for the cost of the clean at the one-off cleaning rate and an invoice will be sent to this effect. Failure to pay this invoice may result in legal action.

In the unlikely event that Bin Buster is unable to clean your bin advanced notice will be given where possible and cleaning credits will be preserved.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that Bin Buster has correct and current contact details.

If the Council notifies the customer of any relevant change to the refuse collection service it is the duty of the customer to ensure that Bin Buster is aware of it.

In the event of a customer relocating subscriptions may transferred to the new address where possible.

If it is impossible to transfer the subscription to a new address, a refund of the remaining subscription fee may be arranged if advance notice is given to Bin Buster

Bin Buster reserves the right to cancel or refuse any subscription.

Bin Buster is not liable for any damage howsoever caused to your bin or your property.

For those who are physically unable to put out their own bins and have assistance let us know and Bin Buster will make arrangements to collect and return your bin.
